New in WeCreate for 2025!

As we near the end of 2024, our team is excited to unveil the latest additions to WeCreate, our Catholic digital art and content library. This year, we're bringing a new cover series, bilingual pieces, weekly devotions with graphics, and so much more! If you’re not yet part of WeCreate, click here to discover everything this comprehensive Catholic resource has to offer. Let’s explore the latest additions and see how WeCreate can elevate your parish communications in 2025.

New Bulletin Covers: The Vintage Series

Aptly named The Vintage Series, our newest weekly bulletin cover series is designed to showcase more “traditional” looking Catholic art. Each piece’s decorative frame uses colors from the artwork featured and gives a nod to hymnal designs of the past. This series starts in Advent (December) and includes three different image size options, full page, half page, and square, in both Spanish and English.

Devotions, Explained!

This year, we unveil a brand-new weekly content series to replace our previous Saint of the Week collection. The new series focuses on explaining a different Catholic devotion or prayer practice. Each week, we’ll include an image, a short-form copy option (short enough to be used as a social media caption), and a long-form copy option that goes more into depth about each week’s devotion. These can be used inside bulletins, on parish websites, as supplemental teaching material, and even as a post on your parish’s social media.

Bilingual Pieces

Many parishes we partner with have both English- and Spanish-speaking communities. Although we already have an extensive library of Spanish graphics, we heard you when you asked for images that incorporate both languages for your bulletin, website, and social media profiles! Bilingual graphics save space in a parish’s communications and convey to your parishioners that there is unity among the different populations at the parish. For this reason, we will continue to add Spanish/English bilingual content every month in many different formats. Currently, WeCreate users can find bilingual content for:

  • Quotes
  • Banners
  • Social media square posts
  • Social media story posts
  • Text Treatments
  • Vertical and horizontal images
  • Catholic and secular holidays
  • Liturgical events and more…

If your bulletin already feels too jam-packed with content and you are looking for smaller, simpler graphics to give it a design-boost, look no further! For 2025, WeCreate is greatly expanding what we are calling our “Clip Art Icons” collection. To find graphics of this type, users simply need to set their search to “All of these terms,” then type “Clip Art Icons” into the search bar. Every month, we’ll create new groups of images based on the liturgical needs of a parish throughout the year. Each graphic is available in color and in black and white.

New Abbreviated Written Content Perfect for Social Media

This year we are expanding the options WeCreate users have for written social media content. We have started including a “mini reflection,” always under 280 characters, that can easily be used for your parish’s X (Twitter) account or on any of your other social media platforms. This abbreviated content also fits well on websites or as an insert into your bulletin content if you are unable to use the long-form reflection available. Users can also find weekly short-form content for both the (Practicing) Catholic series, as well as the Devotions, Explained! series.

This piece stood out to me because of how the message mixed so well with the colors I used. The combination made it so that the image invokes hope. I also love the details on the chalice and the subtle texture and brush strokes. The result feels both timeless and vibrant — perfect for churches aiming to uplift and engage their communities.

I appreciate this image for its softer color palette, which is perfect for representing Guadalupe. The use of textural elements and a layered appearance evokes traditional styles while offering a modern twist through the vibrant colors associated with the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

As a compilation of images, I truly admire this final design for a social media story. It radiates vibrancy and energy, focusing on the priests who serve their communities — an excellent way to honor Priesthood Sunday.

I appreciate the traditional aspect of this design, which features classical Renaissance artwork of Mary. Moreover, I like how the Spanish elements of this celebration are prominently highlighted, while the English text is included intentionally as a secondary focus within the design.

This design was outside the box of what I typically do. The rich, earthy tones of brown and yellow evoke a warm and welcoming feel. The mix of symbolic images — a chalice and bread, a classic depiction of Jesus, and an image of joyful praise — invites viewers to connect personally with the message. The bright yellow arrows guide the eye and create a sense of movement, making it an engaging piece for bulletins or social media posts that need to stand out.

This defines simplicity, evoking a sense of peace. The combination of elements gives it a vintage feel that is both comforting and timeless. It’s a reminder that simple graphics, when thoughtfully composed, can have a profound impact on the viewer.

This one really feels gentle and beautiful. The soft colors — pinks, blues, and greens — along with the simple floral accents, make it feel peaceful and full of love, just like Our Lady. The bold, textured font of "Guadalupe" adds a contemporary touch, making it both classic and fresh.

Using a monochromatic color palette can be challenging at times, but I really enjoy the simplicity of this piece. The off-white background creates great contrast and draws your attention to the familiar variety of oranges we also see during the fall season.

Gospel Meditations are some of my favorite WeCreate projects to work on. They typically feature powerful language relating to the Gospel which offers the opportunity to pair it with imagery just as powerful. This design, for example, showcases someone in darkness looking to the light with open arms, welcoming their redemption that is soon to come.

Announcing New Church Bulletin Covers — The Vintage Series

We are THRILLED to announce this new cover series, one that features vintage images for a nostalgic flair. This week, we sit down with LPi’s brand and content director, Danielle, to give our viewers a first look at this inspired series before we start releasing them into WeCreate.

Q. Hi Danielle, can you introduce this new series to us?
A.
The Vintage Cover series is a full-cover series featuring vintage images with a nostalgic flair. Each Sunday’s design includes English and Spanish options. These are perfect for print or digital use for your parish’s bulletin but can also be used independently for other communications — including websites, social media, and more!

Q. Are these cover graphics available in different size options?
A.
The covers are available in multiple sizes so that parishes can use the images with more flexibility when it comes to their bulletin layout. Users will find a full-page option, a half-page option, and a square option for each cover design.

We’ve found that including multiple sizes and orientations for every design gives parishes the ability to also use these images on their website, social media platforms, and other communications if they want.

Q. What was the concept behind this cover series and how did you approach the design?
A.
Over the past couple of years, we’ve heard a lot of great feedback from the churches we partner with across the country. While every church is different, many have expressed interest in historic interpretations of religious art when polled about their preferences for bulletin covers. This cover series directly addresses their desire for a more “vintage” feel.

Q. Who are these covers for?
A.
One thing that we heard in our research is that people were drawn to art that reminded them of the holy cards and other religious depictions that they remember from their childhood or their grandparents’ homes. We wanted to honor that nostalgic experience with this series. The Vintage Cover Series is for parishes whose communities might also resonate with this more “vintage” form of art.

Q. What is something you’d like our parishes to know about these covers?
A.
Our designers looked to old hymnals, devotionals, prayer cards, and the like to inspire their designs. The resulting series is reminiscent of an earlier era of popular Catholic art, utilizing a large graphic surrounded by a decorative scrolling border. We are very proud of this series and are eager to introduce it to our audience!

Thank you, Danielle, for letting us know more about this new upcoming cover series.
